We had the wonderful pleasure of coordinating Megan + John's wedding on August 26, 2017 at Hotel Emma. Megan + John are one of the sweetest, cutest couple I know, and can withstand any storm you throw their way! It just so happened that Hurricane Harvey made it's debut the day of Megan + John's special day. With help from some amazing professionals, their wedding was beautiful and perfect in every way. The ceremony was moved indoors and the harpist played while guests entered the room and throughout the ceremony. Hotel Emma has a very unique style and acted as a brewery in the early 1900s. The reception took place in the Elephant Cellar. The refined, industrial look is accented with custom chandeliers made from 1920s bottle fillers. Huge brewing tanks are ranked along both sides of the cellar. Megan + John's floral complimented the space using orange, peach, red and greenery. I loved how the couple utilized the foyer space and kitchen in the hallway. Guests enjoyed cocktails and Photo Booth entertainment during cocktail hour. The kitchen was no ordinary kitchen and was used for one of the bars. Later in the evening, the kitchen was flipped into the cake area with extra desserts...oh, what a beautiful cake it was! After dinner, guests enjoyed entertainment by The Spazmatics Band. It was quite a show - everyone was on the dance floor! Why would they be sitting? It was pretty awesome! At the end of the night, Megan + John were sent off with ribbon wands.
