Kendra Scott *Color Bar Parties*

Who loves Kendra Scott jewelry? We do! Kendra has rolled out a Color Bar Party option for you. The Color Bar allows you to create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry for brides and their bridesmaids. Customers pick the style of earring, bracelet, ring or necklace, and then decide whether you would like the piece in gold or silver. After that, you get to choose from different stone colors to fill in their custom piece. Setting the design only takes about 5-10 minutes and you get to take the piece home with you that day. Many brides choose this as an option so that they can create individual silhouettes for their bridesmaids in the same color family. However, the Color Bar is not just for weddings. You can create a one-of-a-kind piece for any gift whether it's for yourself or a friend!

Rio Plaza *Venue We Love*

Cielo Vista

Still searching for a venue? Rio Plaza has 4 levels of spaces to choose from! Rio Plaza has a very unique, San Antonio charm that is perfect if you are looking for a venue with character. It's a beautiful space in itself, so an overabundance of decor is not necessary. 

Grande Vista

The first level is Rita's on the River/Rio Room/Courtyard. Rita’s On The River Restaurant and Courtyard accomodates up to 500 guests with a spectacular Riverwalk experience. Rita’s On The River Restaurant' Rio Room accommodates up to 90 guests with a spectacular Riverwalk experience.

On the 2nd floor, you will be awed by Cielo Vista which has a dark oak bar, rich detail painted walls, floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Courtyard and Riverwalk along with it’s own Riverwalk patio. This room accommodates 100 guests for dinner and 175 reception style guests.

Las Leyendas Balcony

The 2nd floor also has Grande Vista which has  dark oak, floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Courtyard and Riverwalk.

On the 3rd floor, you will find Calle Vista which is  decorated in warm tones, featuring wood beam ceilings, wrought iron and patio dining with seating for up to 140 guests.

Las Leyendas

The 4th floor has Las Leyendas & Balcony which sits atop Rio Plaza with stunning views overlooking the beautiful skyline and Riverwalk with hand-painted fresco wall, rustic furniture pieces, wrought iron sconces, and chandeliers. It is perfect for small wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and corporate events.

Penthouse

 Also on the 4th floor is the Penthouse, which is the counterpart to Las Leyendas.  Beautifully decorated with wrought iron and wood furniture pieces, perfect for receptions, rehersal dinners, or corporate events. The Penthouse seats up to 22 guests for dinner or with Las Leyendas also, both rooms accommodate up to 120 dinner guests and 200 reception style guests.

Candy Creations by Sandi

Trying to figure out a fun flare to add to your event? Well, in our opinion, you can't go wrong with sweet treats! We had the pleasure of meeting Sandi Fender, candy buffet designer, at Candy Creations by Sandi. Each set up is custom-designed to fit your event's theme and color scheme. You can choose to do a traditional candy buffet or opt for various flavors of popcorn, a smore's station, ice cream bar, etc. Below are photos of Candy Creations by Sandi. Gretchen+Bryan Real Wedding

We had the pleasure of coordinating Gretchen & Bryan's wedding Saturday, February 7, 2015. The ceremony was held at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and the cocktail hour and reception took place at The Pearl Stable. 

Participating Vendors

During the ceremony, music was played by Monte Vista Strings. Once guests arrived to The Pearl Stable, they were greeted with a mariachi band, contracted through Sturchio Entertainment, Inc. Passed hor d'oeuvres, bar service and dinner was served by Fresh Horizons Catering. The bride and groom's cakes were created by Cakes by Cathy Young. Floral designs were created by Ambiance Floral and non-floral decor was designed by Di Amici Upscale Events. The guests were entertained with live music throughout the night by The Grooves. Throughout the evening, guests could partake in cigars hand-rolled by Bobalu Cigar Co. Transportation was provided by Elegant Limo. Photography was done by Bend The Light Photography.
